This bill not only will license and regulate the practice of interior design but also will safeguard the health, safety and welfare of the public by limiting interior design of large, commercial spaces and high risk occupancies to only those design professionals who are qualified by the State.

TIDC is a unified voice for the interior design profession that advocates the recognition and regulation of Interior Design as a licensed profession in order to fully protect the public’s health, safety and welfare.
